About TMX Group

TMX Group owns and operates the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV) – Canada’s premier equity exchanges. Together, this unique two-tiered ecosystem – unlike any in the world – lists companies from a wide variety of sectors, like Innovation, Financial Services and ETFs to Natural Resources, like Mining and Energy, ranging in size from micro-cap to mega-cap.

TSX or the senior exchange lists more mature companies; and TSXV, or the junior market, which is also referred to as public venture capital, lists companies that might not qualify yet to list on TSX.
